Piccolo Mondo's Restaurant
Opened in 1993, by that time there were no Libanese restaurants in Bucharest and no catering services, this restaurant supplies especially Libanesse and Mediterranean dishes, in an Eastern designed setting, serving home-made bread. There is available a covered summer terrace, as well.
Some details about Libanese food
Traditional Libanesse dishes are cooked in brick stoves, the resemblances with Italian cuisine being quite obvious: plenty of spices, light dishes, salads, pastry and bread. The breads are anointed with yogurt in order to become crunchy and well-bred. Mezze snacks are of a wide range. Some traditional meals are: humus (chick pea paste), baba kanoui (eggplant salat with sesame).
